Going on a Gromit hunt

Hey there readers,

If you are not from around Bristol, you might not know about Gromit Unleashed. If you are from around here then it’s been pretty hard to miss!

The Grand Appeal is where Bristol children’s hospital has teamed up with Aardman animations and a bunch of fantastically creative people to create large sculptures of Wallace, Gromit and their enemy Feathers McGraw. In previous years they have also done Shaun the sheep and even more Gromit’s.

So far The Grand Appeal has raised over £50 million to support sick babies and children and their families!! How amazing is that?

Every year the sculptures come out, they are spread around Bristol for people to discover. You can visit them all for free (although transport is definitely needed for some of them!) You can download the app for £1.99 and all proceeds go to the appeal. You can also donate at various sculpture points.

At the end of the two months (2nd September) the sculptures are all exhibited together at Cribbs Causeway and auctioned off.

I have to admit that this is the first year I’ve done the trail but it’s been so much fun! Me and the boyfriend have been all over the city and surrounding areas and managed to find ALL 67!! Teamwork!

Now I’ve finished my babbling, I would suggest you click on the link above to discover more and maybe donate. It really is a  fantastic  cause!

Have a lovely evening x
